ABOUT US

Tim projekta IMUK čini interdisciplinarna skupina stručnjaka okupljenih oko zajedničkog cilja – afirmacije umjetničke keramike u hrvatskom obrazovnom sustavu i na suvremenoj umjetničkoj sceni. U timu sudjeluju nastavnici s Učiteljskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, zatim mnogi eminentni umjetnici – keramičari, slikari i kipari, te odgojitelji, učitelji i profesori koji kroz svoj rad aktivno promoviraju keramiku u obrazovanju. Zajedno djeluju kao kreativna i istraživačka zajednica koja povezuje umjetnost, edukaciju i inovaciju u području keramike.

The IMUK project team is composed of an interdisciplinary group of experts united by a shared goal—to promote and affirm artistic ceramics within the Croatian educational system and the contemporary art scene. The team includes faculty members from the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb, as well as numerous established artists—ceramicists, painters, and sculptors—and educators, teachers, and professors who actively promote ceramics in their professional practice.

Together, they form a creative and research-driven community that connects art, education, and innovation within the field of ceramics.

PROJECT LEADER
Prof. Dr. Art. Antonija Balić – academic sculptor and ceramic designer, full professor at the Faculty of Teacher Education. Specialized in contemporary ceramic sculpture, material research, and the development of educational models in art.

· Prof. Dr. Art. Kristina Horvat Blažinović – academic painter and Doctor of Arts. Focus: new media, visual communication, and experimental approaches in ceramics.

Prof. PhD Višnja Rajić – pedagogue and certified ceramicist. Focus: development of educational programs and curriculum design in the field of visual arts.

Prof. Dr. Art. Davor Žilić – painter and Doctor of Arts. Focus: research of painting techniques and their application in ceramic painting.

Assoc. Prof. Marijana Županić Benić,PhD – puppeteer and scientist. Focus: porcelain design, ceramic puppet forms, stage ceramics, and visual narration.

Doc. dr. sc. Svetlana Novaković – graphic artist and doctor of art education methodology. Focus: printing plates on ceramics, texture, and graphic trace in the ceramic medium.
