Simpozij

Artistic symposium

1. simpozij - rujan 2026.

Simpozij okuplja umjetnike, nastavnike, studente i istraživače zainteresirane za eksperimentiranje s pigmentima, engobama, glazurama, otiskivanjem i kolažiranjem na sirovoj i pečenoj keramici. Tehničke radionice bit će usmjerene na primjenu slikarskog i grafičkog jezika u trodimenzionalnom mediju, istražujući prijenos crteža i boje kroz slojevite, reljefne i teksturne površine.

Ključne teme:

  • Autorsko oslikavanje keramike: slobodne slikarske geste, apstraktni i narativni motivi.

Program uključuje stručna predavanja, praktične radionice i otvorene razgovore, a završava prezentacijom radova i diskusijom o mogućnostima daljnjeg razvoja ove hibridne umjetničke forme.

Simpozij se odvija u bliskoj suradnji s lokalnom zajednicom i kulturnim ustanovama

1st Symposium – September 2026

The symposium brings together artists, educators, students, and researchers interested in experimenting with pigments, engobes, glazes, printing, and collage on both raw and fired ceramics. Technical workshops will focus on applying painterly and printmaking languages within a three-dimensional medium, exploring the transfer of drawing and color through layered, relief, and textured surfaces.

Key Themes:

  • Authorial ceramic painting: free painterly gestures, abstract and narrative motifs
  • Graphic interventions: monotype, linocut, stenciling, screen printing, and other printmaking methods on clay
  • Historical references: examples from the works of Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger, and contemporary ceramic artists who have reinterpreted painterly approaches in clay
  • Experimental approaches: exploring the boundaries between drawing, color, and volume

The program includes expert lectures, hands-on workshops, and open discussions, concluding with a presentation of works and a discussion on the possibilities for further development of this hybrid art form.

The symposium is organized in close collaboration with the local community and cultural institutions, contributing to the strengthening of contemporary artistic practice through participatory and interdisciplinary approaches.
