Keramoteka – Gallery of Small Ceramics

Galerija tako postaje mjesto praćenja likovnog razvoja, razumijevanja procesa vizualnog mišljenja i otkrivanja izražajnih potencijala keramike u različitim dobnim i iskustvenim fazama.
Uz redovne izložbene cikluse, Keramoteka će omogućavati i prezentaciju rezultata istraživanja, studentskih projekata, umjetničkih suradnji i edukativnih programa. Kroz dijalog između različitih generacija i pristupa, stvara se prostor učenja, inspiracije i zajedničkog rasta – u duhu suvremenog pristupa umjetnosti, obrazovanju i zajednici.
Keramoteka is a new gallery dedicated to small-scale ceramics, set to open in October 2025 at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. The gallery is conceived as a dynamic and inclusive space where works by children, students, and professional artists meet, dissolving the boundaries between educational and artistic spheres.
What distinguishes Keramoteka is its research and pedagogical function: through exhibitions, documentation, and analysis of artworks, it observes the development of ceramic practice from early and preschool stages through to academic and professional levels. In this way, the gallery becomes a site for tracking artistic development, understanding processes of visual thinking, and discovering the expressive potential of ceramics across different ages and levels of experience.
In addition to its regular exhibition program, Keramoteka will also present research outcomes, student projects, artistic collaborations, and educational initiatives. Through dialogue between different generations and approaches, it creates a space for learning, inspiration, and shared growth—in the spirit of a contemporary approach to art, education, and community.
